It's a minefield sometimes Martyn, but better to know than not. I am not experienced enough to pass judgement on yours, just offering up what i know to be good. A small consolation is I bet pretty much everyone here has a little (or big, lol) box of badges which turned out to be bad. I know I have.

I got rid of all mine, once, now i have a ton more from a bad group lot i bought.

Cheers Phil and Tim. I haven't done too bad lately, better than I used to do. I try to go off age, detail front and back and construction but it seems that there are no set rules and there tend to be so many variations.
