Gents,
Thanks for sharing the period picture and photos of the titles, great to see. I have a collection of titles to the Black Watch and had not been aware of the 5th TB title in white metal, so another one added to the wants list! Interested to see the two piece 4/5 RH title also. The one piece title noted to have been worn by the 4th / 5th on amalgamation in 1921 has the BW scroll. Thanks, Pat |

Thank you very much for showing these, really nice to see.
May I ask, is the two piece 4/5 RH an "unofficial" variation pattern worn as I not seen reference to or a period photo of this example before. PS: Westlake noted for the Regular battalions, the BW title was first used from 1927, you would have imagined that the official post amalgamation TB title would have T 4/5 RH! Thanks Pat |

Pat , Im sure I have a photo somewhere otherwise I would not have included it.
Just might take me sometime to find it. Ron. |

Pat, found it. The man bottom right cant focus it any better, under an eye glass 4/5 RH. Have another picture that shows a man with just T4/5 and no letters so they seem pretty flexible!

Hello Ron,
Superb! Thanks very much for showing that photo. Doesn't get better than that to see what was worn. You have shown some great photos and some very nice titles. Some more information to add to my growing reference library. Without wanting to divert your thread topic, may I ask you about some other shoulder titles to the Black Watch either on here or via a pm as I would appreciate picking your brains a little more!! Thanks once again, Pat |
