Default Up for inspection

Hello all,

I picked up these three badges at a fair this morning. Now that I've got them home, self doubt has started to creep in with one of them. I won't say which as I don't want to influence people but I'd appreciate comments on all three.

Cheers

Steve

I would not buy the Artists- I dont like the slider, clarity of the reverse, or look of the badge itself. Not sure on that version of QVR, TF Gloucestershire looks OK, perhaps it has been painted black at sometime, I doubt the black finish would be original. Just my thoughts. Regards, Paul.

I don't like the TF Gloucesters, there are too many flaws on the scroll for my liking but I don't have an original to compare it with so that is just an opinion.
Cheers,
Alex

Thanks for the comments, even if it does look like this morning was a complete bust (apart from the bacon butty).

I had my doubts over the QVR due to the crown being only part voided but I hoped it was just a badge made at 4.50pm on Friday by someone who could already taste his first beer of the weekend!

Ah well, Box Of Shame 3 Collection 0.

I think the Artists is a duff, the other two look ok to me.

Hi Glosters looks fine as does the KVR but in the hand is the only way to tell photos are never the best for that feel!! I wouldn't write these off has the slider been replaced on the QVC? as a lot of residue to the rear?
All the best billy

I know what you mean regarding handling being better than pictures. Both feel solid enough & the QVR slider does look as though it's been repaired at some point.

I wasn't too worried regarding the offset slider as I have a Rangers badge where the slider is offset but there were enough other good signs to convince me that it was a genuine badge, albeit of not very good quality.
