Suffolk Regiment.

Hi All,
I'm hoping to start collecting again, in a small way, and I thought that I might begin by trying to obtain all of the cap badges, collars and shoulder titles that have ever been worn in my home county of Suffolk.

i have attached pics of cap badge No 1, that I selected, but a swift, refresher, check through these forums, suggest that I may have made a very poor first choice, what do you think ?

Welcome to the forum, you have picked a great Regiment to collect to, the Suffolk Regiment has a vast amount of different badges to collect.

I don't think as you have said that the badge you bought is a good example, it looks as though it could have been artificially aged.

If you are anywhere near Bury St Edmunds you could take a look at the Suffolk Coin and Jewellery Centre, when I last visited there was quite a lot of good Suffolk badges for sale.
