I picked up these today question when and where worn. I thought Beret badge or TRF possibly worn by cadets. Not come across them before

Stephen

Worn as a beret badge, I don't know if it's been worn as an arm badge.

The one I have has a lot more colour in it ie Lance pennons red over white not seen these before the look a little fresh for a regiment that was Amalgamated 24 years ago.

A rather more worn one on a beret, the beret having the ribbon type (I can never remember the proper term) cloth band, so presumably dating from the 1970's - 80's?
The badge construction & colouring is similar to other units ones around that time, the Queens, RCT, QLR.

Mac/Leigh

Thank you both for your input, Leigh thank you for posting the Beret.

Mac I also have a colour patch on sand backing issued dureing first gulf war.

I should have posted both sides although unused condition the back tells a better story from construction point of view shiwing stiffening at the back, item looks to have been made 25 plus years ago.

Regards

Stephen

Nice to get a fairly exact date of use for the beret badge.
