Default Help! IOW Rifles

Hi Guy's,

Can anyone post a picture of the buttons worn by The Isle of Wight Rifles? As I've never seen one specific to IOW rifles I wonder if they just wore a generic one.

Regards

Irv

Thanks Alan. Ive seen this site but isn't very good on close up detail. Can you post a close up picture of the correct button they used.

Anyone have an original tunic or cap badge?

Cheers

Irv

The second link is their Offrs' dress regs which says:

N.B. The uniform is the same as that worn by the Rifle Brigade except as follows:
•1) The cross belt, cap and collar badges are of special regimental pattern.
•2) The buttons have not the letters R.B.
•3) Black bronzed 'T's are worn below the badges of rank on tunics, serge jackets and great coats and below collar badges on service dress.
•4) The 'T's are worn on shoulder cords of Mess Jackets.
