Default Well Done Staffordshire Veterans..!

Hi Gents,

I don't normally post stories I see in the media, however I love this story (link below) as it speaks not only to military history but to community and how veterans can and do make a difference.

Just terrific in every respect.

Excellent news, they should have been allowed to buy the lease. Hopefully that will come later. I hope they fill it with militaria.

An excellent effort which demonstrates the loyalty to the regiment that so so many people in government don't understand when they are so happy to amalgamate and scrap regiments, it's just a shame the reporter didn't research a little then he could have said that The South Staffords were raised in The Kings Head who later amalgamated with the North Staffords to form the Staffords which have now also gone Staffords.
