18th Hussars seems to be a sandcast shoulder title |

Thank you - I just looked at it through my jeweller's rouge and the title is too complex for a sand casting as it has varying thicknesses which would indicate separate layers which do not have file marks. Is this definitely a 18 Hussars title as I cant find one on Google to compare it with ?

its a 18th hussars shoulder title they amalgamated with 13th hussars in 1922. so pre 1922 the issue s-titles had a solid bar running across the top and bottom of the title. yours does not so may be a market or bazzar made copy from india or egypt hope this helps Julian |
