then fill in the details on the form & "browse" to the badge images on your computer:
(note; there is a "best offer" option for the price so you dont have to commit to a figure if you dont want to) Just a couple of tips about posting photos in ads, the software is a bit quirky and not as robust as the rest of the forum therefore: 1. make sure your picture files have unique names: trying to post 1234.jpg and then another named 1234.jpg will stuff it up. 2. The software will try and compress large files but gags around the 900k mark - try and keep them under a couple of hundred k.

click submit. that's it.
regarding the paypal option, probably best to not select it unless you have a fixed postage cost that is included in the paypal price, as there is no option to add shipping costs. you can always send the buyer a paypal invoice with the correct amount anyway, once the buyer has agreed to purchase. |

Once the sale is over, you can mark the item as sold with the user options at the bottom of the ad:
mouse over these on your own ad for their duty: (report, sold it!, delete, edit, etc)

Oh..... one more thing - since our latest spam attack, the newest of the new members can't use the classifieds. sorry about that.

More Classifieds Stuff:
Leaving Feedback: I’ve been asked about leaving feedback after a 'Forum Classifieds' transaction. It’s a simple system compared to ebay ( that's because ebay has a market cap of $32.5 Billion and ours is slightly less than that. )Anyway, when logged into the classifieds section go to the advert relevant to the transaction - it should still hang around for a week or so after being marked as sold by the vendor. But if the advert has deleted, or you are leaving feedback for the buyer, then find the member in the “member list” (on the classifieds navigation bar, not the forum one): Click on the sellers / buyers username This will take you to the “Profile” page for the seller / buyer Click on “Feedback” on the menu down the left hand side of the page. Fill in the form and click submit. .....or if you are leaving feedback for a member who has already left you feeback, go to the relevant entry in your own feedback list and click the member's name to go to their profle page, then to feedback. You can leave feedback only once for a member, but I believe you can modify the feedback later to indicate number of transactions. Not very satisfactory, but we are stuck with it. Classified Subscriptions and Ad notification emails: You can subscribe to a category so that you receive an email notification when someone lists something. If you have something listed you may also receive notification when the advert is a few days from expiry. If you decide you do not want to receive subscription emails or pending expiry emails then you can turn some (or all of them) off. To do this go to your own “Profile” page -again this link is on the classifieds navigation bar not out in the main forum. Then on the left hand menu click on “Statistics”. On that page you will see “Ad notifications” and “Subscriptions” listed (if you have any) To delete: just check the relevant box(es) and click unsubscribe, and the emails will stop. |
