Just been watching an old Sherlock Holmes film staring the ultimate Sherlock, Basil Rathbone.
Gave him a quick Google and learned he served with the London Scottish and was then commissioned into the King's Liverpool Scottish, found the article interesting so here's a link for anyone interested.
