Well anodised is my thing but isn't familiar to me. The shape of the grenade is similar to the Inniskilling fusiliers, but isn't that. A photo of the rear where the blades meet the badge may help - but again the north south blades do not present as usual British military badges that I am familiar with.
Sorry - cant really help. I note that you are Malta based - could be anything local to you? Malta artillery collar grenades have a wider flame though and of course the strap at the bottom. I note scratches on the front of the grenade.
Similar looking to a Dutch military police, but don't think its that either.
