I do see where FMT is coming from. If I was a member of any organisation/society selling items of this nature I would have expected to be notified well before non-members and given the chance to purchase. Only then would I have expected items to be offered for sale to the 'general public'.
That said, it is obviously a matter of opinion and best to agree to disagree I think!
Other than that I think we are all in agreement that it is wrong for these poppies to be re-sold on ebay at such exorbitant prices. It just seems so disrespectful to those who gave their lives on the 1st July 1916.
Hopefully ebay have blocked their sale and will continue to do so. For once, well done ebay!
