Hi Chacal, this is for a BSAP Jersey (jumper) used 1960s and 70s. Probably post 1965 as its around then that the BSAP starting titling itself as the BSA Police, probably to get away from using the word British.

A Jersey, grey, was issued to African police to be worn with;

Dress Order No. 4, worn in rural areas and Police camps
Dress Order No. 12 worn by African Cadets in winter
Dress Order No. 13 worn by telephone attendants

Regards

Wayne
