After some talking around with my Arab friends I have come to the conclusion the titles are not military.
Issa is the Arabic rendition of Jesus and that's how they all read this "title" It is not, in their opinion, a set of initials because the letters are in the form used in words and do not stand alone. Sorry if that is complicated but Arabic is a complicated language!
