We used to buy our leather banded berets in "Victors" in Aldershot which is now long gone.
Also in Alderhot was Henry Dubora's which I believe is still there. The chances are that the badges they supplied were bought directly from the manufacturers that supplied the army though a check of the maker marks would confirm this one way or another.
As far as museum badges go, These I think are in the main made as repros and from my experience aren't anything like the originals in many cases, being aimed at the souvenir market.
