Seriously guys a arm badge/pouch badge worn on a Torin side cap I do not think so it is far to big for a Torin cap.

The band wore the Torins in the 1980's

It was permitted to be worn by duty drivers when wearing a stable belt and Barrock dress trousers but their were not enough available through the pri

Incidentally my cross belt badge cost me 50 phennings half an old German Mark from the PRI shop in Detmold West Germany BAOR.

Cap badges were sometimes fitted to plastic cap that fitted in the Barrel of 120MM mainarmament of a Chieftain tank for inspection days.

One of many uses for regimental insignia. And I never once saw a or cap badge worn on a star background.

I have a suspicion that large AA star with slider may have had a band use of some purpose

Stephen
