I served in the 4/7RDG which had its own band up to 1992 . The band had the same cap badge as the Regiment and the Dettingen flash . This is a diamond with yellow red and black inside . On the amalgamation between 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards I left the Army so I would imagine both of the Regiments bands came together .
The RDG have the same Dettingen flash on the cap badge and arm so the RDG band would have the same .
