Good afternoon.
Here's one for you clever chaps to research: Herbert Vipond.
Probably born Middlesborough. Lived High Shield Farm, Hexham, Northumberland, volunteered for service in The Great War, probably in 1914. Regiment or arm of service unknown, but almost certainly Army. Survived the War, and died in 1948.
My guess is NH, RA or NF, but I am probably completely wrong. Any ideas?
