This tunic belonged to Lt Douglas Kenneth Paine, 25th Battalion, AIF

In September, the 25th was one of several battalions ordered to disband to reinforce others. Its troops mutinied, winning the Battalion a temporary reprieve. They were allowed to keep there old colour patch in this manner.
He is 7th from the left back row the tall chap.
