Hi Phil,
I can't say for certain due to the quality of the photo's but I would say the front appears to have an artificially oxidized look which is sometimes uneven in tone (which is what I think I can see here) whereas genuine patina is generally very even in tone across the whole badge.
Another point of possible concern is the the position of the lugs, they seem fairly high up IMO, the dried polish on the back is neither here nor there really but is sometimes done to disguise the back of a restrike.
Without better photos it's impossible to say, but if it was advertised on ebay with those pics I would leave it alone but that's not to say its definitely bad.
