Hi,
I believe this is an Egyptian Armoured Corps badge, from the 1948 Arab-Israeli war period. The tank is a Vickers Mk VI light tank used for recce.
King Farouk was the Sovereign at this time (1936-1952), and this crown is common on these badges.
