Here is one I picked up and will share for comparison.
This one has short, thick, round brass wire lugs. There is a piece of brass wire strangely brazed to the center of the crown. I initially assumed that it may have been attached for the purpose of plating? It is also, albeit very faintly marked Scully Ltd in the horn. Its a really nice badge, the pictures don't do it justice.
I had never seen a QC in bright brass before. Just WM and brown brass. Having read this thread I guess its an error/unauthorized badge? Any idea when the error occurred?
Bill, Does your badge happen to have a Scully mark by chance?
