I had only been able to look at the Indian Army Lists, which only showed Delhi as a 'Battle Honour' so to be able to confirm that pre-Mutiny, Allyghur and Agra were 'Battle Honours' is great news.
I believe that confirms that the sword is 28th B.N.I. as suspected.
Unfortunately, unless I find some markings that have gone unnoticed, we will probably never know the owner.
