Default Gordon Boys School

Hi All,

Founded in memory of General Gordon, this military-based boarding school has its own Gordon Medal for good conduct (whoops, missed that one!) and they also have a badge for their glengarry headgear.

Originally known as Gordon Boys Home, then Gordon Boys School it's now for both sexes and is called Gordons School based in West End, Surrey. The school has a very active CCF unit. I attended this school from 1975 - 78 whilst my parents/home were in Hong Kong. For those that went to GBS - my number was 7928

Whoops! As I save this I find that there is another thread about the Gordon Boys School. There was a brass badge (general) and the silver one was for the pipers....

The School has a website.
