Your first badge is highly unlikely to be GM – much mor elikely to be die struck (tarnished) WM - they are more commonly slidered but not exclusively. It dates from c 1947 to 1964.
Your second one is much more crude – particularly the slider. I’m afraid that this is a cheap copy.
Peter’s badge was authorised in 1939 and was worn up to about 1944. Regimental documents at the National Archives records the introduction of this badge – specifically for officers only – and variations below at dates given.
My own modest collection shows (left to right) 1 and 2 –silver plated solid cast badges c 1939 – 44. The 3rd one is the same but with loops. The 4th should be a hall marked solid silver badge dated 1940 –41 – but mine is an unmarked solid silver one. The next two – of about the same dates - are solid cast looped and slidered. The 6th is die struck plated with ‘frosted silver’ which was introduced in the 1950s. the 7th is plain dies truck WM made between 1964 and 1967 when the badge became obsolete !
