8th Army South African Signallers
In late October 1944 the Eighth Army News reported that ‘The South African Signals element with 8th Army has earned a battle honour of which it is very proud – a diamond shaped flash with a large 8 embroidered on it’ which was said to have been authorised by the 8th Army’s Chief Signals Officer.

A bit of a long shot but does anyone happen to have the copy of the Eighth Army News in which this was reported?
