Thanks Gents. Tinto, I am of the opinion that your badge is dated 1937 - 46 as it has lugs. I am not sure of the exact date but do know that the badges made sometime post war (into the 1960s had pins or screws on the back) as they do to this day. There were a number of "left over" badges from the war days that were worn up to the early 1960s as well.
