George 11 Lima shilling 1745.
Made from treasure captured by the English privateers Captains Morecock and Talbot, when they took the French ships the Louis Erasmus & the Marquis d'Antin. As well as the gold silver & plate they also recovered 800 tons of cocoa.
The reverse with its enigmatic legend.
