Again interesting photographs. Note:
1. Full time naval personnel only wear full sets or are clean shaven, therefore the photograph of the Motor Boat Reserve CPO (MBR) must be one of the guys on hostilities only service (fishermen etc) I think it was T104 service, They were allowed to keep their face fungus above the lips.
2. The group photograph, of mostly CPO's as far as I can make out, shows in the rear row, two ratings wearing the red RNMBR cap badge ie not CPOs. One is wearing gold MM collar badges, hence confirmation of David's question regarding gold badges worn by ratings other than CPO's. I cannot make out what the other guy has. There also appears to be one CPO in the back row without collar badges. Possibly an artificer, since they did not wear badges. However, my eyesight may be a bit dodgy.
Is it possible to have a copy of the photographs?
