New Boy from ABERDEEN Area

As a recent retiree, I thought that I would like to get back to collecting again. When I was in the Infantry Junior Leaders Battalion at Oswestry, I had an almost complete collection of Infantry Anodised Cap Badges and Collar Badges.
These disappeared when I went to join my Battalion in Kenya in 1961 - I found out later that my Mum (God bless her) had "binned" them. I have bought a few badges on eBay, but given the amount of obvious dodgy badges which I have received, I have decided to purchase from recommended dealers only and spend many hours perusing this Forum.
