Forgive this question, as I'm sure it has been addressed many times but a quick search on this topic brings up so many hits I'm a little overwhelmed.

Is there a simple distinction between the London and Birmingham address on Gaunt badges?

Does it reflect a time period or is it simply two locations for this maker?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
