Does anyone know if there is an established date for the withdrawal or abolition of the 1924 Pattern other ranks cap badge? I am wondering if the changeover to the later pattern occurred early (say mid 1920s) or late (late 1930s for example), and if the latter if any of the 1924 pattern were still in use as the second war started.
