Just to add to this post, I have also acquired a button with the same design as shown in earlier posts.
However, this is a flat gilt (blazer/mess dress) type button rather than the 'domed' type buttons previously shown.
Diameter = 21.6mm
Backmark = FIRMINS + 108 St MARTINS LANE LONDON +
For an unknown Unit/Organisation it certainly had a lot of different button types.
It is a year on since the last post, so hopefully somebody may now recognise it or the organisation it represents.
