I can remember putting pennies on the tram lines at the Pier Head so the trams would flatten them, I can also remember the last day of the trams and although I did ride on a tram on that day, it wasn't the "official " last tram which was painted white.
Its not so long ago that I thought the project to re introduce trams to Liverpool was making progress but now seems to have come to nothing.
If only they had kept the Overhead Railway, what a tourist attraction that would have been even without that many ships to see these days.
