OK, no worries
It's hard to tell. The fakes of this pattern of badge are frustratingly good and they are more often encountered as MMG or RND variants. Often the only give away is the spurious maker marks on the shanks and that they are a thicker (possibly cast?) gauge of metal.
Below is an old images of two badges that I once owned. The one on the right is most often encountered and although not relevant to this thread, I thought I would show it. Sadly I seem to have "misplaced" the rear image
