Sounds like there were quite a few members at Malvern yesterday, as well as me and the member who went down with me ,we bumped into another member I know from off the Forum.
I don't think you are going to be able to attribute a bugle horn like that to a particular unit, as it was, as you thought, a generic design used by a number of units , picture of a similar badge which I bought within the last couple of weeks attached .
It is not to say that this design of badge was not worn by the Devonshire Rifle volunteers in their early days.
As a matter of interest is there any sign of any other badge ever being worn on the glengarry ?
