In my opinion your oilskin beach group patch is probably a 102nd BSA patch which was originaly a rectangle and which has been reduced as a square and its corners have been cut off. For you query in fact I do not know but I have exactly the same as you and it is also a query for me. Mine looks to have been removed from a BD... Maybe someone can help us to identify this pattern. Beach Group embroidered patches are not very commun.
