Alan,

I believe both have been worn by the school corps. John Sainsbury's book shows the WM badge being worn on beret in the 1950's. The corps re-badge in 1982 as Royal Anglian.
The 1938 Journal of the Society for Army Historical Research lists current badge of Aldenham School OTC as 'The school Arms with crest and mantling'. Similar with button with additional school name.
