King's Crown: pre Republic of Pakistan (1956).
That are of course the "hard" dates. In both cases new badges would take some time to be made and distributed. I have even no idea how fast the Republic of Pakistan was in replacing the crowns and pips with newly designed moon/star and pips.
(And as usual, the day of independence hasn't much to do with this).
