Warstone, that's interesting - I'll try and find my notes. Gaunts as in run by the Gaunt family up to 1973 is what I was interested in. My interest really fizzles out in 1958 but I go up to 1967 for TA units. I was trying to find information on the die stamped Liverpool Irish officer's badge which is marked Birmingham. Since the KC WM ORs version was only replaced by an AA QC version in 1964, that year made sense for the officer's one.
Though I have found plenty of Gaunt archives in London and Birmingham I have not come across any from the 2nd WW or later - where are they !?
