Firstly my apologies for having taken so long to add this post to your thread.

Please find attached pictures of the makers marked cast badges to the British (as opposed to the British Indian Army) I can currently lay my hands on.

I'm 100% sure its JP as in a makers initials and not UP as in United Provinces when it comes to your badge.

You will see from one of my badges in the next post UP does come into play at the end of a makers name.
