Yes indeed they were. The Division consisted of two Naval Brigades and one Army Brigade plus an Army pioneer regiment attached......the Worcesters (7th).

Two questions.

1. Where or when did rising sun replace correct trophy of arms?
2. Is it a myth all slidered badges are Light Horse? If so who started that one? I'm sure Infantry used slidered...

Indeed good luck. I have a few pieces I have found over the years on the Somme. Priceless to me as I know the provenance behind each badge and in most cases can attribute to battalion and date lost....
