I am interested in military Pipes & Drums and compiling a list of the Pipe Majors. I understand that the Zambia Rifles had a pipe band in the 1960s, so that must have been after independence in 1964....

Frank Murray was Pipe Major of the Liverpool Irish from 1963 to 1967 when they were part of the 470 (3rd West Lancs) L.A.A. Regiment Royal Artillery. I assume that is the same Frank Murray....
