The first button, is depending upon size, an Officer's Cap or Mess Dress button to the West India Regiment. The cypher reads "WIR" forward and reversed. (i.e. WIRRIW).

The last button actually reads "RAR" [Last "R" is reversed] and is an Officer's Undress or Mufti button to the Royal Artillery...
