Still in use with some battalion's of the...
Still in use with some battalion's of the Reconnaissance Corps until 1945.
The RAF Regiment used them post-war as well.

In Wiltshire as I assume in most Counties the battalion numbers followed that of the local Home Guard. I was just wondering if the issue of these was actually specified in any ACI.

This particular badge has been in my collection for about 25 years but even then it should not have existed with a Queens Crown.
