The HLI and Gordons badges were the ones I was referring to. Mentioned by Alan O quite early in this chain. Someone authorised them as they were on the shelves of an MOD site!

Malc, very nice. In terms of modern officers badges are they actually a gold gilt or some copper/gold mix. I can't believe the MOD would spend any more than they have to so do, especially on badges....
