Thoughts on this King's Liverpool badge.

I've had this a while but can't make mind up as to it being genuine, Any input would be welcome, looks like whoever made it couldn't decide where to solder the fixings!

LATEST ADDITION APTC

Thought this was worth posting, a KC APTC cap badge with reenforced crown.
This arrived today from memory only the second I've seen with this construction.
