18th Bn collar / sweetheart

Here is one that sure looks like a sweetheart, but appears to have original lugs on the back. It is gilt with red, green and white enamel. It is about 28mm tall.

2nd Bn Collar in white metal

Here is a collar that I picked up last summer. Can't find a reference to it but it is in white metal and about 34mm tall, lugged with no maker mark.

It is a nice badge. Interesting to note the shape of the lugs. The very short "foot" of the lugs, is this a marker for the age of the badge? Or does it define a maker of the time?
