Algonquin Regiment Flash

I have two Algonquin Regiment flashes. One has ALGONQUIN REGIMENT/CANADA in a two lines while the other says simply ALGONQUIN REGIMENT in one line.

No.6 Field Ambulance RCAMC Flash

Can anyone clue me in on the shoulder flash named: No.6 FIELD AMBULANCE/R.C.A.M.C.? Yellow on a maroon field. What time period is it? I am guessing there are no other flashes to RCAMC ambulance units.

Nursing Sisters

Did CEF nursing sisters wear the standard CAMC cap badge? Most photos I have seen show them wearing the standard white nurse's headgear with a red cross, as opposed to a hat with badge.
