Your badge is for a RAF Civilian Wireless Reserve member. :)

As far as I am aware this organisation was set up before WWII and members had to agree to be fast tracked into joining the RAF...

The Crown & RAF are the same size for both the cap badge and buckle. Obviously, the wreath is much larger on the buckle.
